About Hurricane Car Wash
Located at 95 Courtdale Ave, Courtdale, PA 18704, Hurricane Car Wash operates as a car wash serving Courtdale in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Courtdale, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Pennsylvania, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (570) 283-2148. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is hurricane-wash-courtdale.paqe.io, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 74 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Courtdale is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Courtdale follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Just stopped there, no garbage cans, can't clean out car before I vacuum it. People are travelers, what's the point of stopping at a car wash if I can't clean out my vehicle while traveling.

Was there Tuesday morning, December 16, 2025 about 10:40am. Went to use to big overhead bay for trucks put in over $2 and kept readind add $1.75 more was not reading what was putting in I used another bay to wash truck. However, no phone number anywhere to call anyone about situation and number listed on google is disconnected As leaving another gentleman was trying to use it. I went over and told him about it. He was putting in a decent amount of money as well and I told him it wasnβt registering. His showed about adding $1.50 more Should be some number or something to call and get in touch with in case of issues.

today, 9/28, i used the carwash trash can to throw away a few water bottles. as I was doing this and leaving, the owner (assuming) was GLARING at me and took a picture of me and my car. This made me uncomfortable as I am a young woman and he was an older man. Definitely will not be giving this place my business. Not sure on the intentions behind the photo but women beware!!

Today, 5/30/2024. Silver Subaru Outback. Approximately 2:20pm Bay 1, no soap coming out of sprayer. No phone number listed by change machine or the office next door. Never had an issue here before. I paid for 7:00. Make me whole. Good customer service will get your review changed.

Pretty poor car wash overall. Soap seems diluted and barely does anything to actually wash the car. Oddly enough, the tire cleaner seemed to push out a decent mix. Signs inside and outside the bay are either falling apart or completely illegible. The drainage inside the bay I used seemed to either be clogged or not sufficient enough for the amount of water used in a car wash. By the time I was done, I had a pretty large puddle to walk around in to finish cleaning my car. The car wash is also cash only with a change machine that accepts $1 and $5 bills only. As of this review, it's $2 for 4 minutes. Bay walls aren't full to the ceiling either, so if someone is using a bay next to you, you'll have their mist dropping on you the entire time. And you can't use a bucket or pad to wash your car if there's anyone waiting (according to the posted signs). Seems like a forgotten car wash that's just there to cash in. I'll be trying somewhere else next time.
